Starting the Signing Process
- Each recipient receives the Email Invitation. A link to the document below will take them to the signing process.
- A consent screen with instructions appears to the new signer, and the user can continue to sign after accepting and closing the screen.
- In the signature process, each recipient will fill out the highlighted fields in the document (unless CC/View only permission is assigned).
Recipients can navigate the document by clicking on the orange ribbon or the Next Required Field button.
Required Fields
Mandatory fields are highlighted in red. Once all Mandatory Fields contain a value, the recipient can complete the Signature Process by clicking the Finish button.
Add Comments
In the comments section, signers or senders can post their comments for the other recipients or the Sender if the signer has any questions/concerns/clarification. Comments are delivered via email and remain on the document for recipients to view. Comments can only be added until the Envelope is ‘Executed’.
Signing
The recipient can sign by clicking the signature field and select the method of signing: Type, Draw, Image.
The user can choose one of the signature options to eSign and can select the eSignature font style and color.
If the recipient wants to change their signature, they can click on the Change Sign option as shown below.
Click on Change Sign to update your signature. The First or Last Name can be changed here if the Sender has enabled it from their Settings.
Confirm Signature
Once the ‘Finish’-button is clicked, and before the signing process is completed, recipients must confirm their signature and ensure that they understand that the eSigned documents are legally binding.
After confirming the electronic signature, the signing process is complete.
All parties receive a copy of signed documents via email or a link to download the documents at the end of the process.
