Failure to activate or deactivate. Error code:105
Cause and Solution
The registration key being used is for other language version of Foxit PDF Editor, it cannot be used for current language version you are having on your machine.
To solve the problem, you have the following ways.
1: Firstly, please check which language version of Foxit PDF Editor you purchased, do one of the followings:
The first method: search through your e-mail message to see if there is an order email from Foxit Software Incorporated no-reply@email.foxitsoftware.com or orders@foxitone.com, then find the language version information there.
The second method: Find your order information and the language version information of your purchased software under your Foxit account on Foxit website. Click here to know how to do that.
2: Change language in Foxit PDF Editor to the corresponding language your license works for.
(1)If the current Foxit PDF Editor you have installed is from a multi-lingual setup package, please click on “File” tab in Foxit PDF Editor>”Preferences“ to bring up Preferences dialog box, hit ”Languages” tab in preferences dialog box, click on option “Choose custom language” ,uncheck option “Choose languages provided by the community”.You could see the following 17 languages under Official language list: Chinese-Simplified,Chinese-Traditional,Danish,Dutch,English,Finnish,French,German,Italian,Japanese,Korean,Norwegian,Polish,Portuguese-Brazilian,Russian,Spanish Latin American,Swedish. Please select the language that corresponds to your license, click on “OK” and “start Now” buttons to apply the change.
Then please click on “Help”tab in Foxit PDF Editor>”Activation” to activate Foxit PDF Editor again. For more details about how to activate Foxit PDF Editor, please click on here.
(2)If the current Foxit PDF Editor you have installed is from an English language version setup package, please remove the current exiting version, then please download the multi-lingual setup package and choose the language your license works for to install before you could activate it again. Please refer one of the following optional methods to know where you could download the multi-lingual setup package:
The first method: search through your e-mail message to see if there is an order email from Foxit Software Incorporated no-reply@email.foxitsoftware.com or orders@foxitone.com , then download the software of your license that applies.
The second method: Find your order information and the download link of your purchased software under your Foxit account on Foxit website. Click here to know how to do that.
