Question:
When a user tries to print from Foxit PDF Editor/Reader on an external monitor, it freezes. And then if the user clicks around on the icons, it will play the Windows “error” sound.
Cause:
The prompt printer dialog is minimized or hidden in the corner when using the external monitor by default. And the user can't find it.
Solution:
try the following ways after you hit the print button in Foxit Editor:
1. Open Windows settings by Win+I, go to "Personalization", select "Taskbar", then check or uncheck the "show taskbar on all displays" to see if the print dialog will show up.
2. Or do the followings:
- Alt+Space
- then M, or select "Move" if a small dialog pops up.
- Press any arrow key once
- Move the mouse to drag the printer's dialog.
