Salesforce Installation and User Set Up
In this video, we will go over the installation of our Salesforce package for Foxit eSign.
NOTE: This installation requires a URL Salesforce package link and a Salesforce Sandbox account. Contact sales at 1-866-680-3668 for more information about the Foxit eSign integration for Salesforce.
Create a Sandbox account
If you are testing Salesforce, it should be installed onto a sandbox account. Create a Developer Account using https://developer.salesforce.com/signup
Once the Sandbox is created, you can log in to Salesforce.
Install the Salesforce Package
Install the Foxit eSign Salesforce package by entering the URL package link in the browser.
- Log in to your Salesforce account.
- You will be prompted to log into your Salesforce account. Once this loads, select Install for All Users. Click Install. This process might take a few minutes.
- Once installation is complete, click Done.
- The Installed Package is displayed under Apps>Packaging>Installed Packages.
Connect Foxit eSign to Salesforce
- Go to the App Launcher and search for Foxit eSign.
- Select Region (North America or Europe) from the dropdown. Click Take me there.
- You will be automatically redirected to the login page for Foxit eSign. Log into your Foxit eSign account.
- Click Allow.
Switch Foxit eSign User In Salesforce
- Go to the Foxit eSign Setup in the Lightning Experience.
- Click Not you? Log out by removing our Named Credential.
- Select Delete from the drop-down under Actions for Foxit eSign Named Credential.
- Go to the App Launcher and search for Foxit eSign.
- Connect another user by selecting Region (North America or Europe) from the dropdown. Click Take me there.
- You will be automatically redirected to the login page for Foxit eSign. Log into your Foxit eSign account.
- Click Allow.
You have now connected your Salesforce account to Foxit eSign and ready to send out documents for eSignatures!
