KBA (Knowledge Based Authentication)
KBA verifies a signer’s identity by associating their SSN, or passport credentials with information available publicly and commercially.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA) is a security feature that can be used in combination with a login process to accurately validate identity and protect private and confidential data. Add an additional layer of envelope security with Two-Factor authentication by verifying the identity of recipients before receiving access to the envelope.
Foxit eSign provides Two-Factor Authentication through:
- SMS
- Voice call
- Authy (Enterprise)
- User-defined Access Code (Enterprise)
Email Two-Factor Authentication
A one time verification code will be sent to the recipient(s) email. The code needs to be entered into Foxit eSign to access/sign the envelope.
Mobile Two-Factor Authentication
Recipients will receive a SMS verification code to enter in Foxit eSign to access the envelope.
Phone Two-Factor Authentication
Recipients will receive a verification code by phone call to enter in Foxit eSign to access the envelope.
User-defined Access Code
Recipients receive a customized code created by the sender. The code is sent and received outside Foxit eSign. After the correct User-defined Access Code is entered, the recipient will access the envelope.
