Descriptions:
Foxit PDF Reader updated to version 11.2.1 and now I cannot find the Fill & Sign icon under the Protect tab anymore. How could I access the "Fill & Sign" feature in Foxit PDF Reader V11.2.1 and other newer versions of the V11.x series?
Cause and solution:
Since Foxit PDF Reader V11.2.1,we have integrated Foxit eSign which is a new eSignature service into English version of Foxit PDF Reader. Currently, when you click "Foxit eSign" tab, Foxit PDF Reader will show "Foxit eSign" related features there by default . When you want to switch to use the Foxit ink sign feature (Formerly known as Foxit Fill&Sign feature), you have to click over the "Switch to Ink Sign" button after you have entered into the Foxit eSign tab.
If you need to use the Foxit ink sign feature frequently and never use the Foxit eSign feature,you may also choose to disable the Foxit eSign service in Foxit PDF Reader temporarily by going to "File"tab>"Preferences">"PDF Sign", check the option "Disable Foxit eSign service",click over the "OK" button to apply the setting.
Then Foxit PDF Reader will only show you the "Foxit ink Sign" related features by default under the "Foxit eSign" tab.
Note:
This article is applicable to Foxit PDF Reader for windows desktop V11.2.1 and other newer versions of the V11.x series. And we only provide Foxit eSign under the English version of Foxit PDF Reader. Under other languages in multilingual build, only provide Ink Sign feature (fomerkly known as Fill&Sign feature) for users. There will be no Foxit eSign related button/option under other languages in multilingual build.
We added back the Fill&Sign feature under the "Protect" tab since V12.
