Share Reusable Templates Overview
Foxit eSign enables you to create templates for forms and documents that require signatures, such as contracts or purchase orders and use them repeatedly.
Creating a reusable template means your preferences are saved and you can rely on the template at any time to collect the data you need from the standardized fields you create. Once you’ve created a reusable template, you’ll can share it with others, such as members of your department.

Create Reusable Templates
To share a template, you must first have the template created, to create a template from scratch, please Click here for steps to Create Reusable PDF Templates for eSigning.
Share a Reusable Template
- Click Templates from the navigation bar at the top of the application.
- Place a checkmark in the box by the template(s) that will be shared.
- Click Share Templates in the top navigation.
- A prompt will be displayed with the options to Create a New Library or Add to My Shared Library. If there are no shared libraries created yet, click Create a new library and type in a name for the new library.
- Select the users who will have access to the shared templates by selecting the Add Users To This Library icon.
- In the box that opens, add the user(s) or emails who will have access to the template library and click Share.
- Shared templates are available in the Templates Library under the Templates Tab.
Shared templates will have a share icon next to their name.
How to View Templates Shared with Me
- Click Libraries Shared With Me under the Templates Library.

How to Copy a Shared Template
Copying a shared template to your library allows users to make modifications to the template.
- Select the Template Library to copy
- Click Copy to copy the templates to a users personal templates list
