You could choose one of the following optional ways to covert MS word table in MS word file into interactive PDF form fields in PDF file:
- Create form directly from a file
- Convert word file into PDF file and then use Run Form Field Recognition function to recognize form fields
Create form directly from a file
1.Open Foxit PDF Editor,go to File tab>Create>Form>From a File to bring up an Open dialog box where you could navigate to select an MS word file with the table.
2.A progress bar for conversion would appear in the lower right corner. The newly created form file will be opened automatically in Foxit PDF Editor once the conversion is complete,
3.If some fields in the newly created form field are still not converted into interactive form fields, click on Text Field on the toolbar, and then point your cursor to the un-recognized field to manually to create an interactive field on the table cell.
Convert word file into PDF file and then use Run Form Field Recognition function to recognize form fields
In Microsoft Word, follow one of the methods below to convert word file into PDF file:
Method 1:Open the word table file in Microsoft Word.Go to File > Print in word file and select Foxit PDF Editor Printer as printer to print the word file into PDF file.
Method 2:Open the word table file in Microsoft Word.Go to Foxit PDF tab in word>Create PDF to convert word file into PDF document.
Method 3:Right click on the icon of the word table file in windows explorer, select Convert to PDF in Foxit PDF Editor option in the pop-up context menu to convert the word file into PDF document.
In Foxit PDF Editor, do the following:
1. Open the converted PDF file in Foxit PDF Editor.
2. Go to Form tab, click on Run Form Field Recognition menu.
3. Click on Ok button on the following message to start form field recognition.
4. If some fields are left un-recognized, click on Text Field on the toolbar, and then point your cursor to the un-recognized field to manually to create an interactive field on the table cell.
