Oftentimes business professionals need to save all e-mail messages or emails within a folder to a file and/or portfolio. The easiest way to accomplish this workflow is to open Microsoft Outlook. Go to Foxit PDF Addin (highlighted below).
To ensure that your attachments are included, and your messages are output to PDF Portfolio, go to Advanced.
You will then be presented with the below window. Ensure that Include Attachment, Output PDF Portfolio, and Convert Folder Information is checked.
To add security to your PDF Portfolio during conversion, go to Default Settings > Select Edit (highlighted below),
Go to Security > Select Password Protection, Certificate Protection or RMS Protection based on the level of protection you’d like to add. Then Select OK.
Once OK is selected, select OK again to exit the window below.
Now you’re ready to convert your messages to PDF portfolio. To convert an entire folder, go to Selected Folder > Create New PDF.
To convert multiple messages within a folder, go to Selected Message> Create New PDF. To select several messages, press CTRL + click on the messages you’d like to create to PDF.
After selecting Create New PDF > below is where you can save your name your portfolio
Foxit will Create PDF portfolio and then you will be prompted to unprotect your PDF. Once the document is unprotected, you will have your PDF portfolio (see below).
