Foxit PDF Editor will add a Foxit PDF Editor Creator toolbar to your Google Chrome (version 36 or later), Mozilla Firefox (version 63.0 or later) and Internet Explorer (version 8 or later) if Foxit PDF Editor Creator is not disabled during the Installation Wizard.
Foxit PDF Editor Creator plugin-in may be disabled in the browser. To enable the Creator Plug-in from within the browser, please do the following:
In Google Chrome
Open a new tab, type chrome://extensions to open Extensions page. Find Foxit PDF Creator from the list, check Enable.
If Foxit PDF Creator is not listed, Click Load unpacked, then browse to the installation directory of Foxit PDF Editor (By default: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\plugins\Creator\ChromeAddin) to load the file ChromeAddin.crx.
Or directly drag the ChromeAddin.crx file into the Extensions page then click Add extension.
Note:
1. Foxit PDF Creator for Chrome only available since Foxit PDF Editor version 11.0 and greater versions.
2. Since Google Chrome version 67, it is not supported to drag the ChromeAddin.crx file into the Extensions page to install the plugin. If you're running Chrome version 67 or later versions, please complete the following to add Foxit PDF Creator plugin back.
1). Open Chrome browser then copy this URL to the address bar to open it:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/foxit-pdf-creator/cifnddnffldieaamihfkhkdgnbhfmaci
2). Click Add to Chome then click Add extension.
In Mozilla Firefox
Click the Open menu at the top right-corner > Add-ons > Extensions, click Enable.
If Foxit PDF Creator (disabled) is not listed, do the following to install the plug-in:
Steps for Foxit PhantomPDF 9.2 and greater versions
Steps for Foxit PhantomPDF which is older than version 9.2
For Foxit PhantomPDF 9.2 and greater versions (including Foxit PDF Editor), please perform the following steps:
1.Open Firefox browser.
2.Go to the installation directory of your Foxit PhantomPDF (by default it is: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\plugins\Creator\FirefoxAddin” or “C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\plugins\Creator\FirefoxAddin”) to find the file named FireFoxNew-WebExtensions@foxitsoftware.com.xpi.
3.Drag the file FireFoxNew-WebExtensions@foxitsoftware.com.xpi into your opened Firefox browser, there should be a dialog box pops up asking you to Cancel or Add the Foxit PDF Creator add-on, click Add, then you will get a new message which says Foxit Creator Has been added to Firefox with option Allow this extension to run in Private Winows contained.
4.If you would like the Foxit creator add-in to work in private browsing, click on the box next to Allow this extension to run in Private Windows to add a check mark and then click on the Okay, Got It bar.
If you do not want the Foxit creator add-in to have access to your data in private browsing windows, leave the box unchecked and just hit Okay, Got It bar.
With the option Allow this extension to run in Private Windows unchecked ,you would find that the newly loaded Foxit creator add-in is greyed out in Firefox, you have to restart the Firefox web browser again to make the grayed out the Foxit creator add-in to be activated and clickable.

(Besides dragging the file, you could also go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, choose Install Add-on From File… then browse to select the FireFoxNew-WebExtensions@foxitsoftware.com.xpi to install.
For Foxit PhantomPDF which is older than version 9.2, please perform the following steps:
1.Open Firefox browser.
2.Go to the installation directory of your Foxit PhantomPDF (by default it is: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\plugins\Creator\FirefoxAddin” or “C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\plugins\Creator\FirefoxAddin”) to find the file named FFExtnHTML2PDF.xpi.
3.Drag the file FFExtnHTML2PDF.xpi into your opened Firefox browser, there should be a dialog box pops up asking you to Cancel or Install the Foxit PDF Creator add-on, click Install.
(Besides dragging the file, you could also go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, choose Install Add-on From File… then browse to select the FFExtnHTML2PDF.xpi to install.
In Internet Explorer
Click Tools at the top right corner of IE, click Manage Add-ons, choose All add-ons, find Foxit PhantomPDF Creator PDF ToolBar from the list, click Enable.
