Description:
When attempting to activate software by opening FoxIt PhantomPDF and selecting "Help" > "Activate"
User is prompted with a loading screen that doesn't allow them to input their activation credentials
Solution:
1. Please navigate to your Foxit PhantomPDF's main directory folder. By default FoxIt PhantomPDF's main directory folder is in
"C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\"
or
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\"
2. Download 'fpcsdk.config' from the link below:
http://sync-us.foxitsoftware.com/iss/QCPHANTOM-21592/fpcsdk.config (Right click and choose "Save as")
and place this newly downloaded file "fpcsdk.config" into your Foxit PhantomPDF's main installation folder,somewhere like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\"
3. Please open Foxit PhantomPDF, click on "Help">"Activate" to activate it again,you should be able to activate it successfully.
Note:this issue referred in this article is a known issue only would happen in V9.7 and it has been addressed since V10.
