Through Foxit My Account, normally you are able to review your order details including the product name, quantity, price, and total amount if your order is valid (in open or close status). It’s easy for you to retrieve license keys, download link, invoices for your purchase, check activation records of your one-time/subscription license or deactivate licenses from the previous machine on the website. However, if you purchased Foxit software via a third-party e.g. resellers/distributors/partners, that will be an exceptional case.
Here’re the steps.
- Find my order Information.
- Download Invoice.
- Check the order details and its corresponding software download link.
- Check the activation record.
- Deactivate license from a previous machine.
1.Find my order Information:
1)If you do not have an account on Foxit website yet, please create an account with your order’s billing email address on the Foxit homepage.
Note - If you have problem receiving the activation email when creating Foxit account, please click here to create a ticket to Foxit support team with your account email address, they will send you the activation link to activate your account.
2)Click here to sign in with your Foxit account and password. Go to Orders and you will find your order information.
3)You can also find out the language information of Foxit PDF Editor Application that corresponds to the license in the order.
2.Download Invoice:
Click on the Download Invoice button under your order to get invoice file corresponding to the order.
3.Check the order details and its corresponding software download link:
Please click on the order number in blue color to open the order where you can see the order details.
For one-time license:
Please click on blue arrow icon in the order details window to download the latest version for your license.
For a single-user subscription license:
Your subscription order will also be presented in Subscription Management page, click on Download App button to get the latest version.
For multi-user subscription licenses:
Both of the owner(i.e.admin) and members who have been assigned licenses in organization all could be able to find the subscription order in Subscription Management page under their respective Foxit accounts. They all could click on the Download App button under the Subscription Management page to get the latest version.
For both one-time and subscription licenses that are centrally managed by the Foxit Admin Console platform:
Only the order owner has permission to download the Foxit application included in this order under Foxit account. The members who have been assigned Foxit application licenses in Foxit Admin Console platform cannot find the software download link under their respective Foxit accounts directly.
For the order owner, please go to Orders page to open the order managed by Foxit Admin Console to bring up Order Details window, click on blue arrow icon in the order details window to download the latest version for your license.
For the members who have been assigned Foxit application licenses in Foxit Admin Console platform, they all would receive an email with this subject “Your organization administrator has updated your Foxit licenses “when they were assigned licenses. In the body of the received email, they could download the assigned Foxit application.
Alternatively, members could also contact with the order owner directly for requiring the assigned software download link.
4. Check the activation record:
- Check activation records for one-time liecnse
- Check activation record for a single-user subscription license
- Check activation record for multi-user subscription licenses
- Check activation records for both one-time and subscription licenses are centerally managed by the Foxit Admin Console platform.
Check activation records for one-time license:
Under Orders page,click on the order number in blue color to open the order details window.Then click on View Activation in the opened Order Details window allowing you to view the PC Name, MAC address, and activated Foxit application version number under this registration key.
By default, some characters in the middle part of the registration key are displayed with asterisks instead of characters therefore to see all the actual characters in the registration code, please click on blue eye sign to bring up the Query result dialog box and then click on green eye sign after the Registration Key Code.
When you want to check the MAC address of a device on which Foxit application has been activated there, please try the following steps:
For Windows OS device:
1). Access to the device that you want to check its Mac address, click on the windows Start Menu, then select the Run item.
2). Type cmd in the text field.
3). A terminal window will appear on the screen. Type in getmac (with no spaces) and push enter.
4). The 'Physical Address' field states the MAC address for that adapter.
For Apple macOS device:
Open the Apple Menu -> System Preference -> Network -> Wi-Fi -> Advanced -> The MAC address is the Wi-Fi Address or Airport Address.
Check activation record for a single-user subscription license:
Under Orders page,click on the Subscription Management >Devices where you could see the activated PC there.
Check activation records for multi-user subscription licenses:
The administrator has no way to check the activation records for all members. Both of the owner(admin) and members that have been assigned license have to check their respective activation records separately under their accounts by doing the following:
Under Orders page, please click on Subscription Management, you can see the total Foxit application licenses quantity and how many licenses have been assigned to members. For example, “No.of Licenses 2/10” shown in the following screenshot indicated that there are total 10 Foxit PDF Editor Pro licenses,only two licenses have been assigned yet , 8 licenses left waiting to be assigned. Then please continue to click on Devices button under the Subscription Management page where you could see list of activated PCs corresponding to your existing login account.
Check activation records for both one-time and subscription licenses are centrally managed by the Foxit Admin Console platform:
Licenses managed by Foxit Admin Console, neither order owner nor members that have been assigned licenses can find the activation records under Foxit account on Foxit homepage.
For the administrators in Foxit Admin console platform, include Super Administrator, System Administrator and Product administrator, they have permission to check the activation status for all of the members that have been assigned licenses from the information listed in “Number of activated devices” this column under the License Management page in Foxit Admin Console platform.

For the users who have been assigned Foxit application licenses in Foxit Admin Console, they have to log into licensed Foxit application with their respective Foxit accounts, click on Help tab>Manage to check the activation records:
5.Deactivate license from a previous machine:
- For one-time license
- For a single-user subscription license
- For multi-user subscription licenses
- For both one-time and subscription licenses are centrally managed by the Foxit Admin Console platform
For one-time license:
Please refer to “Check activation records for one-time license” this section mentioned in the current article to access to the page where you could see the list of activation records:
In the activation records list, please click on Activated button of the PC you wish to remove from the list of activated PCs.
Then click on OK on the popup confirmation dialogue box to accept change.
Note: This solution to deactivate the one-time license on the Foxit website applies to Foxit PDF Editor-Windows Version 12.0 and greater, and Foxit PDF Editor-macOS Version 12.0 and greater.
- For Foxit PDF Editor-Windows versions prior to V12.0 and Foxit PDF Editor-macOS versions prior to V12.0 , please access Foxit Software Upgrade portal to take your license to next level or refer to the other solutions mentioned in other article to deactivate license.
- For Foxit PDF Editor educational license, you can find the order detailed information under your Foxit account, but the feature of deactivating license on Foxit website is still not available yet. Therefore please refer to the other solutions mentioned in other article to deactivate educational license.
- For an activation code purchased through a Foxit reseller or distributor, there is no option to view the order detailed information nor deactivate the license within your Foxit account. Therefore please refer to the other solutions mentioned in other article to deactivate license.
For a single-user subscription license:
Please refer to “Check activation record for a single subscription license” this section mentioned in the current article to access to the page where you could see the list of activation records. Then please click on Activated button of the PC you wish to remove, and click on OK on popup confirmation dialogue box to accept change.
You are also able to deactivate perpetual license inside Foxit application. To know how to do that, please refer this article.
For multi-user subscription licenses:
For both of the admin and members, they all have to deactivate license from previous machine with their respective Foxit accounts separately by doing the following:

Then please click on Activated button of the PC you wish to remove, and click on OK on popup confirmation dialogue box to accept change.
In addition to the above mentioned deactivate license on Foxit website, both of the administrator and members that have been assigned licenses are also able to deactivate their respective assigned one-time license inside Foxit application. To learn how to do that, please refer to this article.

For both one-time and subscription licenses are centrally managed by the Foxit Admin Console platform:
For the administrators in Foxit Admin Console platform, include Super Administrator, System Administrator and Product administrator, they all have permission to revoke licenses from members that have been assigned licenses under the License Management page in Foxit Admin console platform. For the users who have been assigned Foxit application licenses in Foxit Admin Console, they have to log into licensed Foxit application with their respective Foxit accounts, click on Help tab>Manage to check the activation records, then click on the X button of the PC you wish to remove from the list of activated PC.
