For versions from V7.0 to V9.3
Since V9.4, we have implemented a new option called Do not prompt Foxit PDF Editor when printing in silent print mode (recommended when printing multiple PDFs with the same settings) in preferences dialog box. This option is for specifying whether to close Foxit PDF Editor instance or not when finishing silent printing using the command line or quick print.
To enable Foxit PDF Editor to close Foxit window automatically after having completed silent printing, please do the following setting in Foxit PDF Editor:
Open Foxit PDF Editor, go to File tab>Preferences>Print>check Do not prompt Foxit PDF Editor when printing in silent print mode (recommended when printing multiple PDFs with the same settings) this option, click on OK to apply the setting.
For versions from V7.0 to V9.3
Foxit PhantomPDF would open an instance of Foxit PhantomPDF when you print silently and the Foxit PhantomPDF process would still keep running after you having finished the printing task. There is no option to suppress the Foxit PhantomPDF window, you have to manually close it after the printing is completed.
Foxit PhantomPDF instance will be closed automatically after the silent printing is finished. You don't have to do any setting in the program.
