Windows users may encounter a UAC prompt while running the Foxit PDF Editor. And it will need an administrator's permission to grant. However, some Windows users don't have the admin rights. So, preventing the UAC from prompting is required.
The individual users or the helpdesks for the enterprise users can do the following steps to prevent UAC prompts:
1. Disable the Foxit Updater (Only for enterprise users)
Foxit Updater will always ask for admin permission. So, it needs to be disabled.
For example, from FCW, you can select the "Entire feature will be unavailable" option for the "Foxit Updater".
2. Set Foxit as the default PDF viewer
If Foxit was not set as the default PDF viewer (including System PDF Viewer, Web Browser PDF Viewer, Preview PDF Viewer, Thumbnail PDF Viewer, and Embedded MS Documents Viewer), UAC may probably prompt to ask to change it when the user is using.
The best way is to set the Foxit as the Default PDF viewer upon deployment: https://kb.foxit.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403064938516-How-to-Deploy-Foxit-PDF-Editor-as-the-Default-PDF-Viewer-Without-UAC-Prompt-
