1. General Prerequisites:
- Intune Deployments of Foxit PDF Editor
- Available Foxit Customization Wizard Tools
- SCCM Deployments of Foxit PDF Editor
2. Create a .mst configuration file to disable the popup
Please download Customization Wizard from "Available Foxit Customization Wizard Tools"
Open the Customization Wizard
2.1 Cancel setting "Set as the default PDF viewer"
- Navigate to Preferences > Installation Options,
- Uncheck the box next to "set as the default PDF viewer"
2.2 Cancel setting "Forbid checking of default PDF viewer" and "System PDF Viewer"
- Navigate to Preferences > File Association
- Enable "Forbid checking of default PDF viewer"
- Disable "System PDF Viewer"
2.3 Click Save to generate the .mst file and fct.cab
3.Deploy Foxit PDF Reader/Editor
Please refer to the documentation provided in General Prerequisites for deploying Foxit PDF Reader/Editor.
4.For users who have already installed Foxit PDF Reader/Editor , please follow these steps:
- Open Foxit PDF Reader/Editor
- Click File > Preferences > File Association
- Uncheck the box next to "Forbid checking of default PDF viewer"
- Click "OK" to save the settings
