Introduction:
Do you frequently work with documents containing comments and annotations? Are you tired of manually closing pop-up notes and seeking a more efficient navigation method? Foxit PDF Editor (Pro) versions 2023.2 and 13.0 introduce a feature to significantly enhance your user experience, eliminating the need for manual closing of pop-up notes and creating a smoother workflow.
New Feature:
This new feature automatically closes pop-up notes after losing focus while making comments or adding annotations to a document. It streamlines your work process by closing pop-up notes when you move your mouse away, allowing you to concentrate on your tasks without distractions.
How It Works:
When using the Note tool or other annotation tools (e.g., highlight, underline) to add text in an opened pop-up note, simply move your mouse away from the note area after finishing your review or edits, and the pop-up will automatically close. There is no need to click the "x" button manually. To reopen a closed pop-up note, single-click the note icon and click the "Edit Note" icon in the pop-up mini-bar.
For faster access to your notes pop-ups, enable the "automatically open pop-ups on mouse rollover" option in your preferences settings as shown in the screenshot below:
(Please click on "File" > "Preferences" to open the preferences dialog box.)
With this option enabled, hover your mouse over the note icon, and the pop-up note will open automatically.
