How to Add Foxit eSign Add-ins to Microsoft Outlook
Install Foxit eSign For Outlook Desktop
1. System Requirements: Make sure you have a compatible version of Windows and Outlook, as outlined below:
- Windows machines with Office versions using Edge (with WebView2 - Chromium-based)
- Non-subscription Office 2021 or later on Windows 10 or 11
- Microsoft 365 ver. >= 16.0.13530.20424 on Windows 10 or 11
- Outlook for Mac
Compatible Browsers:

2. Add Foxit eSign Add-in to Outlook: Go to the "Home" tab in the Outlook ribbon and Click Get Add-ins.
3. Search for Foxit eSign: In the Add-ins store, search for "Foxit eSign" using the search bar and Click on the "Add" button to install the Foxit eSign Add-in.
4. Add-Ins Added Successful: Once you have added Foxit eSign add-ins to MS Outlook, The Foxit eSign icon will appear on your Outlook home tab to sign or request email attachments.
Install Foxit eSign For Office 365
1. Log in to Office 365: Log in to your Office 365 account using a web browser.
2. Access Outlook: Once logged in, click the Home tab and locate the Get add-ins option and click.
3. Search for Foxit eSign: In the Add-ins store, search for "Foxit eSign" using the search bar and Click on the "Add" button to install the Foxit eSign Add-in.
4. Add-Ins Added Sucssefull: Once you have added Foxit eSign add-ins to MS Outlook, The Foxit eSign icon will appear on your Outlook home tab to sign or request email attachments.
How to Use Foxit eSign in Outlook
1. Login or Sign Up
Once installed, you may need to log in to your existing Foxit eSign account or sign up for a new account if you don't have one.
Authorization:
Grant necessary permissions for the Add-in to access your Outlook account.
2. Sign Email Attachments
a) Open Outlook: Launch Microsoft Outlook Desktop or Open in a Web browser.
b) Open an Email: Select an existing email where you want to sign the attachments.
c) Access Foxit eSign: Click on the Foxit eSign add-in on the top menu bar labeled "Foxit eSign." Alternatively, you can click on the three-dot menu and then select "Sign attachments."
d) Add Documents: When you click the "Sign Attachments" option, it will open a pop-up window where you can add additional documents to sign along with your existing email attachments.
e) Place Signature: Position your digital signature and other required fields where needed in the document. You should drag and drop it into the correct location.
f) Sign the Document: Once reviewed, finish the signing process within the Foxit eSign window by clicking the "Finish" button.
g) Get Signed Documents: Click "Document Status" within the Foxit eSign Add-in settings to download the signed document. Alternatively, you can receive the signed PDF via email after it's been executed.
3. Request Others to Sign Documents
a) Open Outlook: Launch Microsoft Outlook Desktop or Open in a Web browser.
b) Select Email: Select an email with one or more attachments you'd like others to sign.
c) Open Foxit eSign Add-in: Click on the Foxit eSign add-in available on the top menu bar labeled "Foxit eSign." Alternatively, you can click on the three-dot menu and then select "Request Signatures."
d) Upload Document: When you click the "Request Signatures" option, it will open a pop-up window where you can Upload additional documents to sign along with your existing email attachments.
e) Select or Add Recipients: Add the Recipients who need to sign the attached documents. You can typically do this within the Foxit eSign add-in interface.
f) Prepare Document for Signing: Drag and drop signature fields onto the attached documents where each recipient should sign. Select the document and choose "Add Signature Fields" or another required option.
g) Review and Send: Review all the documents, recipients, and signature fields. Once comfortable, click the "Send" button within the Foxit eSign add-in.
h) Recipient Notifications: After getting the success message, The recipients will receive an email.
i) Signatures and Fields: After clicking the "View Document" link in the email, the eSign application will open in a new browser tab. From there, you can quickly review the documents and click to sign in the designated fields.
j) Review and Sign the Document: Review the entire document and the required fields. Once comfortable, click the finish button to complete the digital signature process.
k) Get Signed Documents: Click "Document Status" within the Foxit eSign Add-in settings to download the signed document. Alternatively, you can receive the signed PDF via email after it's been executed.
