Migrating users on the Admin Console from Foxit PDF Editor Pro to Foxit PDF Suite Pro for Teams when SSO is set up and Provisioning is not set up.
To migrate the users Console from Foxit PDF Editor Pro to Foxit PDF Suite Pro for Teams when SSO is set up and Provisioning is not set up, please follow the instructions below:
Log in to your Foxit Admin Console and go to License Management > Select the Foxit PDF Editor tab and click on the Export button (see screenshot below):
Open the exported CSV file in Excel, and delete all columns except column B where the user emails are stored, and save the file as a new CSV (see screenshot below):
Once the new CSV file is created, go back to the Admin Console > License Management > Assign License > Assign licenses with a CSV file, select the product Foxit PDF Suite Pro for Teams, and import the CSV by browsing for the file or simply use drag and drop, and click OK (see screenshot below):
The users will be assigned the new license for Foxit PDF Suite Pro for Teams and their previous license for Foxit PDF Editor and/or eSign will not be revoked. You will have to revoke the "old" licenses manually, or once the process is finished the old licenses can be deleted by the Foxit Licensing team or you can contact Foxit Support and ask for the old licenses to be removed from the Admin Console.
This process might take a while depending on the number of users in the CSV file.
To check on the progress go to Admin Console > License Management > Assign License > Bulk Operation Results
When the task is completed you will receive the following message:
All users have been assigned licenses successfully.
Note: After this task, when the user opens Foxit PDF Editor, they will receive a message that their license has been revoked and the program will restart. The user will have to enter their credentials that they previously used to activate their Foxit license (SSO credentials)
