This guide briefly introduces the workflow of the Foxit eSign application integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365. Please follow the below steps to set up the application:
1. Authenticate Your Account
Log in with your Dynamics 365 account and click on Foxit eSign Home from the left menu, a pop-up will open to authenticate with Foxit eSign, and log in using Foxit eSign Credentials.
2. Map Foxit eSign Users in Dynamics 365
Add users by searching with Name or Email or selecting security roles or by both.
How to Enable Dynamics 365 Entities
1. Enable Dynamics 365 Entities for the tenant. These entities are, by default, entities provided by Dynamics 365.
2. Search and add entities for the tenant; only added entities will display while mapping. We can multi-select the entities, and after clicking on Add Entities, it takes 5-7 minutes to publish the sitemap and enable the new entities.
3. Once we Added Entities, they are treated as active.
Foxit eSign Template in Microsoft Dynamics 365
1. Dashboard view after successful account authentication, Click on the highlighted area to create new templates.
2. Two ways to create a Template
a) Map Foxit eSign Template- It will fetch the templates from the Foxit eSign account, and we can select any template per our needs.
b) Create Dynamics 365 Template- We can create a new template that will be listed in Dynamics Foxit templates.
3. Select Foxit eSign templates and fill in the template details.
4. Drag and drop the required fields on Template.
5. Map the Foxit eSign template fields with Dynamics fields and click the Finish button.

Once the template is created successfully, here we can see the list of all templates.
How to Switch To Saleshub
1. Click on Foxit eSign on the top left to switch to the Sales hub.
2. Click on sales hub to go to Dynamic 365 data source and send documents/templates for signature.
3. Dynamics 365 Data Source
After creating the template, go to the data source for which the template is created, and fill in the details which need to be mapped on the template.
4. Select an opportunity (Dynamics 365 data source) and click on Request Signature.
5. Sending Documents from Dynamics 365 Templates and Desktop
We can send the Documents/Templates from the list of templates created, select from Dynamics 365, and select the document from the desktop.
How to select Template from the list
1. Select the template from the list and click the Next button.
2. Send the selected template for signatures
3. Field values will get auto-populated for mapped fields in the templates.
4. Once the document is sent for signing, it can be accessed through email, or we can log in from the Foxit eSign account and sign it.
How To Check Envelope Status And Create A Note
1. Check the Envelope status of the sent document/template.
2. View The Signed Document
We can view or download the signed document from the timeline of Dynamic’s data source.
3. All statuses of envelopes are listed here. We can check the status of all the documents sent under this tab.
4. Create a Note
Users can enter text and attach a document in the new note. The document added here in the note will be shown under the Select from Dynamics 365 list when sending a document.
How To Select Dynamics 365 Entity Document

2. Send the selected document for signatures.
3. Drag and drop fields on the document and send for signing
4. Once the document is sent for signing, it can be accessed through email, or we can log in from the Foxit eSign account and sign it.
